Clean tweezer tips after each use with alcohol wipe or peroxide. Tweezer can be sanitized in an autoclave or barbicide.
- Start by prepping the area with warm water to relax the skin for an easier removal with reduced pain. Skin should be clean and dry prior to removal.
- Sanitize tweezer tips with an alcohol wipe.
- Grab the splinter or ingrown hair with the tweezer tips and pull in the same direction that it entered the skin.
- After removal, clean the skin and tweezers again with hydrogen peroxide or alcohol wipe.
